English Lessons: Advanced Level (Reading and Writing) Online
Looking for a supportive, collaborative space to learn, practice, or develop your English language skills? The Family Center offers 4 learning levels this Spring: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced (Listening and Speaking), and Advanced (Reading and Writing).
Advanced Level (Reading and Writing) English Lessons will take place online via Zoom. Access to the Zoom room will be shared prior to the first class.
Advanced (Reading and Writing):
In this course, we explore how to reflect on reality through writing. You will get inspired by the most touching and persuasive essays written by young adolescents who might be your neighbor next door. Through creative writing (NOT research-style writing), you will expand your overall language command, and excel in your skills of coherent and cohesive thought presentation.
English Lessons offered through the Family Center are free and available for Penn students, postdocs, visiting scholars, staff, faculty, and their family members/caregivers (age 17+).
