English Lessons: Beginner Level In-Person
Looking for a supportive, collaborative space to learn, practice, or develop your English language skills? The Family Center offers 2 learning levels this Spring: Beginner and Advanced.
Beginner Level English Lessons will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week from 2/4 to 4/24 in the Family Center.
What you will learn in the Beginner level class:
- Continue learning essential communication skills and foundational grammar through everyday scenarios using authentic materials.
- Develop fluency and confidently manage daily tasks and integrate into their new community here at Philly.
English Lessons offered through the Family Center are free and available for adult family FRC members of student and postdoc parents at Penn!
This event is for beginner level only. Noting you can only register for either one class at the moment but can always switch to another section if you wish.
Location: 3615 Locust Walk, Lower Level of the Graduate Student Center
There is a front and side building entrance, both with a device for Penn Card swipe-access as well as touch screen doorbells. The Family Center can be found when you come down the stairwell, or select “B” in the elevator.
