Join us for an engaging 2 part Lactation Deep Dive, an advocacy project by the Philadelphia Alliance for Student Doulas. This workshop will explore the historical context of breastfeeding, current disparities, and the critical importance of human milk. Through interactive discussions and practical demonstrations, we will address hospital practices, formula marketing, and essential lactation skills. Participants will gain valuable insights on how to support and promote breastfeeding in their communities.

This event is open to UPHS and University faculty, staff, students, post docs and their partners.

The Lactation Workshop will be held in the Family Resource Center. Registration is required and the facilitated conversation will begin at 5:30pm on Wednesday and 3:30 on Friday.
