Mindful Movement Class In-Person
Lets put the WE in Wellness!
Our Mindful Movement program is a GREAT way to (re)connect your mind, breath, and body while having FUN in community!! Teacher Christina welcomes parents and caregivers at Penn to join as we encourage each other and our kids to stretch, breathe deeply, love our bodies, and feel grateful to be present! Class will incorporate practices and motions from yoga, breathwork, and other mindfulness techniques to embrace our beautiful wholeness, together. No specific experience is necessary to participate.
Each session will begin with a welcome, include mindful movements, and close with gratitude.
October 16 from 3:00 - 4:00 PM in the Family Center.
Registration is requested. Parents and caregivers at Penn are welcome to join. This offering is sponsored by the Family Resource Center.
This program is open to all parents, partners, and caregivers and their children in the Family Center. All genders and bodies are welcome.
We recommend that families wear loose fitting clothing, or clothes they feel comfortable in while on the floor. Positive attitudes, laughter, and open-mindedness are highly encouraged.
We may use chairs, yoga mats, the floor, and cushions. All materials will be provided by the Family Center, but attendees are welcome to bring their own equipment.

There is a front and side building entrance, both with a device for Penn Card swipe-access as well as touch screen doorbells. The Family Center can be found when you come down the stairwell, or select “B” in the elevator.
