Yoga In-Person
Lets put the WE in Wellness!
Yoga is a pathway to strengthen the connections between your mind, breath, and body. Teacher Christina welcomes participants to this encouraging session that focuses on empowerment from within.
This class involves yoga poses, breathwork, and circle conversation to embrace wellness in community.
While different parts of the whole body will be engaged, this class does not focus on fitness. No specific experience is necessary to participate! The session will begin with a welcome, include mindful movements, and close with gratitude.
We recommend wearing loose-fit clothing, or clothes that feel comfortable enough while on the floor. Positive attitudes, laughter, and open-mindedness are highly encouraged.
We may use chairs, yoga mats, the floor, and cushions. All materials will be provided by the Family Center, but attendees are welcome to bring their own equipment.
Thursday, December 4, from 10 - 11 AM in the Family Center.
Registration is requested. All Penn affiliates are welcome to join. This offering is sponsored by the Family Resource Center as part of the Graduate Wellness Week series organized by GAPSA and the Graduate Student Center.

3615 Locust Walk, Lower Level of the Graduate Student Center
There is a front and side building entrance, both with a device for Penn Card swipe-access as well as touch screen doorbells. The Family Center can be found when you come down the stairwell, or select “B” in the elevator.
